Ally is a temporary licensed mental health counselor under the supervision of Dr. Amy Mooney and Dr. Robert Wade. She graduated in 2022 with a bachelor's in psychology, and completed her Master's in Rehabilitation Counseling in 2025 from Drake University. She has spent a year working with the Iowa Department for the Blind and Iowa Vocational Rehabilitation Services providing career counseling and guidance, supported employment assistance, and disability adjustment counseling.
Ally integrates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Person Centered Therapy, and Feminist theory into her approach to helping clients achieve their goals, develop healthy coping skills, and navigate individual and systemic challenges.
Ally believes a strengths-based approach and providing a place of unconditional support with plenty of empathy and compassion go far in her work.
