Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree in clinical mental health/counselor education.
  • Candidate must possess an Iowa license as a temporary license mental health counselor or full licensed as a mental health counselor.

Graduate Student Paid Internships

At Ames and Des Moines Therapy & Consulting, we enthusiastically welcome graduate students who are seeking counseling hours to apply for our internship program. Our friendly and experienced team, consisting of PhDs, fully licensed clinicians, and temporary licensed clinicians, is dedicated to providing continuous support and guidance to our interns throughout their daily operations.
