Nancy Fregoso
My name is Nancy Fregoso and I am a mental health counseling practicum student at Drake University with seven years of experience as a K–12 school counselor. I am originally from Sioux City, Iowa. I am very passionate about providing supportive, approachable, and culturally responsive counseling services. As a Spanish-speaking counseling student, I value building strong therapeutic relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds. I am particularly interested in evidence-based approaches that focus on building practical coping skills, emotional regulation, and healthy thought patterns. Throughout my practicum, I aim to support clients in navigating stress, life transitions, and personal challenges while promoting overall well-being and resilience.
